Erin and Ben Napier’s Cozy Living Room Is the Epitome of “Merry and Bright”

The tree is decorated with a maroon-brown traditional sash, elegantly draped and framed by two large windows with floor-to-ceiling neutral curtains. The television is set to a painting backdrop and hung like a picture frame (perhaps The Frame by Samsung?), with lanterns glowing on either side. Oversized furniture only contributes to the cozy feel, complete with a red a green fluffy pillow on the armchair.

But it’s not all snowflakes and bows, as Erin laments the loss of her first and favorite ornament with her husband from 2011, pleading with followers to help her replace it. The ornament, which Erin says she “fumbled” while trying to put on a new hook, says “Massachusetts” with a large ship on the front and a lobster on the back. It’s unclear if they ended up finding the same ornament just yet, but a few promising hints from followers will hopefully lead to getting good news soon.

The couple will soon be streaming into your living room again, with their Season 5 premiere of HGTV’s “Home Town” on Jan. 3. The show features the town of Laurel, Mississippi, where Erin and Ben live and help neighbors renovate their homes through artistry and woodworking, integrating community history and storytelling along the way.
