Have you been missing “The Crown” since Season 4 dropped on Netflix last fall? Well, now you have the opportunity to stay in a swanky Spanish palazzo from the series — if you’re willing to drop some major cash, that is.
Officially named Palazzo Delle Luce, this Mediterranean-style estate sits in Marbella, Spain. In “The Crown,” it served as the backdrop for the scene in which the Egyptian film producer Dodi Fayed (played by Khalid Abdalla) calls his father to tell him about his budding romance with Princess Diana (Elizabeth Debicki) in the 1990s.

In real life, Robb Report writes that the palazzo is about to go to auction for a whopping starting price of $17.9 million. Located within La Zagaleta Country Club, the lavish space spans more than 19,760 square feet. With seven bedrooms and bathrooms, the space is certainly fit for a royal occasion.
The Palazzo Delle Luce features a double-height foyer with Murano glass chandeliers, floor inlays, and sconces, as well as white marble floors and a grand staircase. High ceilings, large, arched windows, and Palladian-style doors help the already ample space feel even larger and airier than it is already.
If owning a gorgeous palazzo wasn’t enough, the home also comes with plenty of on-site amenities to help you live in luxury, including a 10-seat movie theater; an infinity-edge pool; a south-facing gazebo; an eight-person Turkish bath and spa; and a two-storied covered entertainment space.
Meanwhile, the country club also offers a helipad for easy access to various parts of Marbella. The island itself is quite a catch, featuring sparkling blue water, ancient ruins, and no shortage of beaches. Not too shabby!

Calling all the big kids! You can visit the imposing Crunchem Hall from Netflix’s “Matilda the Musical” adaptation for yourself very soon. The estate will be open to members of the historical conservation group English Heritage for one day only on Friday, February 10.

In real life, the school was brought to life at Bramshill House in Hampshire, England, a stately home once owned by royals like Henry VIII, King James, and King Charles I. The 43,002-square-foot manor was also used by the Red Cross for evacuees during World War II, and, more recently, as a police training college. It’s also said to be the most haunted house in England, with several ghosts supposedly haunting the grounds at night. In other words, it’s seen quite a lot of action before Matilda and the rest of Crunchem’s students ever laid eyes on it.
Unfortunately, pint-sized Matilda fans won’t be able to see Bramshill House for themselves. Apart from the English Heritage membership requirement, visitors must be at least 16 years old. Interested? First, you can purchase an English Heritage membership starting at £53 (which roughly translates to $64), regardless of your nationality. Next, head over to the event page, where you can book timed tickets. Each ticket retails for £35 ($42) per member.
If you can’t make it to the real-life Crunchem Hall next month, don’t worry! You can check out other filming locations from “Matilda: The Musical” any time. The village featured in the movie is Denham, Buckinghamshire, which happens to be close to “Matilda” author Roald Dahl’s home and museum in Great Missenden, England. And if you’re craving time in the English countryside, you can head to Dunstable, where many of the film’s rural scenes were shot.

Cast your mind back to episode three of season two of “The White Lotus“. Daphne (Meghann Fahy) and Harper (Aubrey Plaza) head off on a girls’ trip to Noto, where they stay the night at a striking Italian villa.

The villa in question is Villa Tasca, and you can stay there in real life. Located in Palermo, Italy, the family-run property has been passed down through six generations and is now owned by Count Giuseppe Tasca — who actually made an appearance in the series during the episode where the women stay at the villa, playing the character of Peppe.
Built in the 1500s, Villa Tasca features a rich history, with stories told through its unique design and setting.
“Villa Tasca is among the most prestigious private historic residences in Palermo, still belonging to the Tasca family,” Count Giuseppe told Apartment Therapy. “What makes the villa special and unique is the sense of peacefulness and home that it conveys to all who visit or stay in the residence,”
Inside the villa, most of its rooms and suites — including the room where Fahy and Plaza filmed in — have been designed with 18th-century majolica tiles that add depth and character to each space. These tiles, Count Giuseppe notes, have become one of the guests’ favorite elements of the home, and are safeguarded by staff members. His personal favorite room in the villa is the music room, which is said to have inspired some of history’s greatest musicians.
“The music room, with its frescoes and piano, is certainly one of the most beautiful rooms in the historic residence. Inside the room you can find traces of different musicians such as [German composer] Richard Wagner, who performed there during his stay in Palermo. He was also was inspired by the atmosphere of Villa Tasca to write the third act of Parsifal,”
Villa Tasca is no stranger to being showcased in film and television. Reminiscing over his childhood, Count Giuseppe remembers Sofia Loren and Richard Burton shooting “The Journey” in 1970.
For “The White Lotus,” he said that he was first approached by series director Mike White in Dec. 2021, who had shown interest in using Villa Tasca as a filming location. While the filming look place, the Count was present during almost all of the scenes, whether it was to act or be immersed in the atmosphere.
“We were all working hard, having fun, cheering happily after each single scene, and I truly cannot find words to describe the energy coming out from the well-managed chaos created,” he recalled. “Filming with Aubrey and Meghann was very nice, too,”
Throughout its history, Villa Tasca has hosted many famous faces for events, weddings, and overnight stays. To experience their own slice of Italian history, guests can book a stay at the villa through vacation websites such as Expedia. There’s also the option to rent the entire villa.
“A visit or a stay in Villa Tasca is a unique experience in time and in history,” notes Count Giuseppe. “It leaves the guests enchanted by a distant world still full of charm.”

Netflix’s “Emily In Paris” is back for another season of frothy drama and gorgeous French backdrops. While a lot of the action still takes place in and around the City of Light, Season 3 introduces plenty of new Paris locales, as well as all-new locations like Provence, France. Although the Eiffel Tower has been shown throughout the series, parts of “Emily in Paris” Season 3 were actually shot at the iconic landmark — more specifically, Le Jules Verne, the restaurant inside the Eiffel Tower itself. The dining spot offers floor-to-ceiling views of the city, which is a whole lot dreamier than the scuffle between Emily’s bosses.
In Season 3, Emily ventures out to Province, France to visit Antoine’s chateau. The episode was filmed during the area’s lavender season, which draws thousands of tourists each year. Pro tip: visit from mid-June to mid-August to enjoy the fields at peak bloom. While you’re in town, why not eat at Clover Gordes, the restaurant where that scene of Emily accidentally sitting on a bag stool was filmed?
In one of the season’s more memorable scenes, Emily and Gabriel go on a date that’s technically not a date at a balloon-filled arthouse full of selfie-ready exhibits. In real life, these scenes were filmed at the traveling Pop Air Balloon Museum, which is currently in Milan until February 12, 2023. Tickets range from 10 to 20 euros, depending on which day you visit. You can keep up with the museum’s travels on Instagram.
Fancy a castle tour? Then venture over to Château de Montpoupon, where Emiily and Alfie enjoyed their hot air balloon ride in Season 3. Located about three hours outside of Paris, the estate also features a 30-room museum dedicated to subjects like hunting, the Hermés brand, and taxidermy, if you’re into that. Can’t make it there in person just yet? No worries! Château de Montpoupon also offers a virtual tour.
At one point in Season 3, Emily and her BFF Mindy take a break from the chaos of their lives to enjoy poolside drinks. The scene was filmed at the Molitor hotel, which is bursting with Art Deco accents. If you want to enjoy a dip in between Paris sightseeing, this might be the hotel for you.
