Restful in its laconic warm white and natural wood tone colour palette, this modern apartment in Moscow communicates tasteful style and utmost elegance. Designed by Belousova.Interior, the exquisite home design features softly rounded furniture silhouettes and beautifully curved statement walls that fashion a welcoming and comforting layout. The wonderful curves seem to cosily cocoon each living area and every turn. Luxurious marble feature walls thread a deep burgundy vein into the light surroundings, adding depth and mesmerising pattern. In the master bedroom suite, we discover a fabulous bespoke headboard feature wall that ripples with white waves and an ensuite bathroom with a unique freeform mirror.
A curved sofa sweeps a loose line of separation between the open concept lounge area and an adjacent kitchen diner. The back of the curved sofa breaks in the middle to strengthen the open connection between living spaces.
A milky white living room rug spills a cool base underneath the white lounge furniture, which coordinates with soft white drapes, and clean white stucco walls.
The modern coffee table disrupts the peaceful lounge decor scheme with a drop of luxurious burgundy veined marble.
The eye-catching coffee table coordinates with two attractively decorated living room alcoves, which are shelved and backed in matching marble.
An elegant modern wall sconce directs the eye down onto a unique, undulating fireplace design that melds modestly into the pale backdrop.
Two living room chairs flank the fireplace, creating toasty reading corners by the dancing flame.
Decorative vases place crisp white adornments onto the burgundy marble coffee table.
At the back of the living room, the kitchen backsplash is clad in burgundy veined marble to match the alcoves and coffee table in the adjoined lounge area.
The modern dining table conveys a carved aesthetic of its own, making a shapely match with the chairs.
A black stem pendant light descends over a porcelain sculpture, placed on a plinth at the side of the dining area. The rounded plinth fits smoothly within the dip of a rounded feature wall that divides the living space from the home entryway.
Behind the dining area, a wooden kitchen adds notes of warmth to the white room.
The luxe marble backsplash is joined by a matching kitchen countertop and a single wall shelf that seems to extrude from the stone wall.
There is another art plinth on the opposite side of the curved statement wall to provide the entryway with a touch of culture.
A second black stem pendant light illuminates the sculpture by the front door.
In the white on white bedroom decor scheme, a fabulous bespoke headboard feature wall undulates across the width of the room.
The white upholstered bed pushes up against the feature wall, complementing its softness.
A unique, sculptural bedside table stands at each side of the headboard, layering curve upon curve.
A flower vase fetches a burst of life into the desaturated surroundings.
Modern wall sconces direct reading light over the pillows.
At nightfall, the bedroom lighting scheme is atmospheric. LED ribbons cut searing shafts of light down either side of the ribbed headboard feature wall.
A dressing table is situated by the bedroom window, near the foot of the bed. A round vanity stool and a round vanity mirror continue the curved shape theme.
Next to the vanity table, a vintage mirror makes waves. This is the Ultrafragola Mirror designed by Ettore Sottsass in 1970.
Inside the ensuite bathroom, a slender white pedestal sink stands elegantly in front of an unusual full-length freeform mirror.
Microcement stucco fashions a subtly shaded background to gently contrast the pure white sanitaryware.
Cool white LEDs brightly ignite the small shower design from around its edges.
A vertical towel warmer crisply matches the matt white finish of the freestanding basin faucet.
A narrow bathroom shelving unit slots into the corner of the vanity area, where it shines with ethereal white light.
We see a return of burgundy veined marble in the hallway, where it is perfectly accentuated with perimeter lighting.
More marble adds luxurious flooring to the guest bathroom, which doubles as the laundry room.
The laundry room utilities are cleverly hidden within the wood-panelled cistern concealment wall. A tumble dryer and washing machine stack as a tower to save on space, and detergents stow away on shelves above.
On the opposite side of the small multifunctional room, a freeform bathroom mirror burns brightly around its edges. The illuminated mirror highlights more modern wood wall panelling. A unique bathroom sink protrudes from the bespoke vanity unit.
Undermounted LEDs emphasise the cantilevered position of the bathroom basin.
A modern wall sconce is mounted alongside the freeform wall mirror to increase task lighting over the vanity.
White sculptural art stylishly accessories the deep burgundy marble countertop of the vanity unit. The piece cleanly complements a matt white freestanding faucet at the opposite side of the sink.

Alluring white marble walls and matching marble furniture build an unmistakable air of luxury inside these two ravishing home interiors. Classical wainscotting, traditional fireplaces and heavy drapery contribute to the sumptuous look. The combination of intricately luxe decor pieces is freshly balanced out with some simpler modern elements, in the shape of contemporary kitchens and minimalist silhouettes. The first of our two featured home designs benefits from a rich green accent hue, which has an uplifting effect in the light open plan living space and an open plan master ensuite. A wide box light creates the ambience of a skylight above the large shower enclosure.
In our second featured home interior, we come to a bright and airy living room with smart classical wainscotting. A modern tufted sofa, chair and matching ottoman set are situated in a conversational seating arrangement, with the TV playing second fiddle off to one side.

Bright white decor, natural wood elements, and fresh light green accents shape the airy rooms of these two homey interior designs. Visualised by Elemental Design, the two decor schemes are also characterised by a host of cute curves that come in the form of painted wall features, racetrack mirrors and curvaceous wardrobe designs. Indoor plants and botanical wall art provide much of the greenery, but a deliciously minty green and white kitchen, fresh mint green kids decor, and a green accent master bedroom expand upon the uplifting colour palette. We’ll also find a powder blue and blush pink bedroom design, and a plethora of built-in furniture ideas.
A stylish ceiling fan is bedded into a circular ceiling recess inside the first of our two home tours. The unique canopy sets a curved shape theme for the rest of the room, where a round coffee table reflects its silhouette.

The TV stand carries a traditionally inspired aesthetic with elegantly framed doors and brass detailing. Curved edges smooth the unit into the white TV wall, where a circular detail paints an eye-catching feature behind the TV screen.
The structure of the TV wall curves down to merge into the kitchen peninsula. A cute white picket fence planter houses a neat row of indoor plants.
A cylindrical wooden column and arched base support the dining peninsula.
Above the peninsula, the elegant fixtures are Model 2065 dining room pendant lights designed by Gino Sarfatti for Danish brand Astep. Warm grey dining chairs contrast darkly against a white marble tabletop.
A kids’ play space is set up in the corner of the room. A fun fabric teepee is paired with a round rug that complements another painted circular wall feature. Botanical art and potted plants give the play area an adventurous outdoorsy feel. A wicker basket keeps toys tidy.
Built-in storage units feature a decorative arched bookcase. The arch is complemented by a racetrack-shaped wall mirror by the front door, where a built-in entryway bench conceals shoe storage.

The floating TV stand and matching dressing table coordinate with the wardrobe’s curved shaping. A round vanity stool, freeform vanity mirror, and arched wall detail add more complementary curves. A small pendant light drops in a sweet pop of blush pink.
The second double bedroom design is more contradictory to the rest of the home with its sharp linear headboard design, although a rounded desk and chair duo smooth the look.
A soft grey bedroom rug is matched by a tasselled throw. Suspended bookshelves add an interesting touch by the bedroom door, where they form a library entryway.
An all-white decor scheme brightens a small, windowless shower room.
A glass wall kids room is fitted with another beautiful bespoke wardrobe design.
House-shaped toy storage units are coloured with mint green modules. A round rug softens the play area down in front.

Hanging plants and rattan wall planters give the balcony a garden feel.
A wood cased window makes an arched feature in the living room of our second home tour. The interior window creates a light-sharing focal point above the sofa, which creates the feeling of added space.
The arched window is complemented by a curved pattern on the living room rug, and a rounded rectangle coffee table.
An upholstered dining bench softens the aesthetic of the modern wood dining set.
The narrow galley kitchen directs the eye toward a tall window with a city view.
A shoe storage area is illuminated beneath a set of built-in storage units in the home entryway. Open shelving nooks warm the white installation with moments of natural wood tone.
Inside the home office, a double workspace is faced toward the window light and the view.

In the master, muted green paintwork colours a restful backdrop for wooden shelves and 3D abstract relief bedroom wall decor.
A decorative vase adds the sculptural element to a built-in bookshelf that merges into a window seat.
The vanity unit is arranged as a peninsula that attaches to the wardrobe and separates the sleep space from the dressing area.
Green paintwork colours a decorative border opposite the foot of the bed.
This bedroom switches up the colour palette with powder blue and blush pink accents, though the green theme is still present in botanical wall art.
The window seat in this bedroom merges with a custom-built wardrobe.
A home workspace looks out the living room at the other side of the interior arched window.
The final bedroom features a built-in bed design with raised wardrobes.

Each of these apartment interiors has been designed by 23Design to fashion a sense of sunny serenity in the modern world. With a grey and white decor palette, sleek contemporary furniture silhouettes and a minimalist approach, these two light-filled apartment designs are calming sanctuaries to come to after a day in the bustling city. The first interior we’ll visit features a faux skylight design that creates an open and sunny feel, even on a grey day. Custom-built storage units line the walls and harbour a hidden doorway. The second serene grey and white interior is given a sunny boost with bright yellow accents, and a glass wall home office that shares the distribution of natural light.
Measuring 115 square metres (1245 square feet), this apartment interior is located in a high rise building that faces the Tamsui River in the Zhuwei District of New Taipei City. Rainy days at the end of winter used to conjure a sad mood in this place, but now it is showered by light every day from a faux skylight that stretches out above the study area and the walkway that leads to the kitchen.
On sunny days the skylight is not needed, thanks to the apartment’s wonderfully large windows. Furniture in this living room is kept pale in colour to bring light deep into the space.
A dark grey rug lays down a contrasting base for a clean white coffee table. A black console unit floats a complementary dark accent along the living room focal wall.
A track light along the edge of the room, along with underlit floating wall shelves and wall mounted units, create a soft wash of atmospheric illumination.
Concrete walls and the matching skylight construction give the apartment interior a cool industrial appeal.
The lounge opens straight onto the dining room, where a wall of shelving creates a decorative moment.
Many more bookshelves and storage opportunities line the wall behind the study area.
The crisp white storage cabinets and shelving units build a bright lining within the grey concrete architecture.
The white furniture finish cheerfully reflects the illumination from the massive skylight installation.
A doorway hides within the run of storage units, quietly camouflaged within the blank white finish…
… With the door slid closed, you’d never know it was there.
The criss-crossed skylight design builds a coffered ceiling effect behind the main beam.
The neat intersections of the skylight are echoed in the shelving patterns beneath it.
When illuminated, the long skylight creates an ethereal corridor of light.
The private bedroom is a cosy space with light decor. Chic bedside table lamps brighten the darkly contrasting bed.
The ceiling gains character from a curved cutaway and contrasting ceiling panelling.
The curved dropped-ceiling feature accentuates the lesser curve of the wall.
White built-in closets are stylishly cut through with black recessed handles.
This serene Scandi inspired grey and white interior has been given a colourful twist with bright yellow accents. The yellow accent living room appears sunny and warm even in wintery weather.
Simplistic lines and limited colours make a fuss-free space that feels peaceful. Black and dark grey accents sharpen the aesthetic with a balance of bold moments. Scatter cushions on the sofa lay out a trilogy of tones in light grey, dark grey and vibrant yellow. A coordinating yellow ottoman makes a sunny extension to the couch, which also serves as a window seat.
The wall in front of the sofa builds a dominating black focal point in the room. Indoor plants and a vase of foliage break up the black expanse with moments of uplifting greenery.
The lounge opens into the dining area, which is accessorised with a pair of yellow glass orb pendant lights.
A gold floor lamp has a coordinating orb shade in the lounge area.
Yellow artwork adds a flash of invigorating colour to the dark living room feature wall.
A yellow book accents the round coffee tables at the centre of the lounge to keep the colour thread going.
Behind the sofa, perforated metal plates have been used to build the home office. The perforations blur the relationship between the public living space and the private working quarters.
The metal plates create a dialogue of shared light and shadow that builds added interest in the interior.
Inside the home office, one of the yellow dining chairs serves as a desk chair.
A midcentury-inspired desk strikes a bold silhouette in front of the white metal screen wall.
The contents of the home office make intriguing shadows from the outside of the perforated panel walls.
Much like the living room, a dark focal wall commands the study. A comfortable accent chair lightens the look.
In the bedroom, dark wood wardrobes contrast the light decor scheme, along with a bespoke headboard design with atmospheric backlighting. Crisp white bed linen coordinates with a pale grey and white wallcovering across the headboard feature wall.
A dressing area is built into the wall of wardrobes and drawers at the foot of the bed. Small shelves are built into the side of the units to house a collection of cosmetics around a custom-cut vanity mirror.
