Styling is like the cherry on top of any design.
When designing our products for our collection with Threshold for Target, one of our favorite parts of the process is considering all the details that make a home feel layered, lived-in, and finished. In our latest collection, we were inspired by creating accents that enhance your living space through organization and decor pieces that effortlessly pair together.
In this post, we’re excited to share a few ways we styled our pieces from the Spring 22′ collection. Scroll on for inspiration!
A few pillows in a subtle color-way can go a long way in adding an extra layer of tone and intention to any living space. While we love mixing and matching throw pillows on a sofa, a pair of the same pillows on two chairs side by side can bring balance to mixed and matched patterns throughout a room.
A cozy upholstered bench moment welcomes you (and your guests) in the entryway while patterned throw pillows, a rug, artwork, and greenery add personality and life to the look. Don’t forget a textural basket to stow away shoes!
We love using glass-front cabinetry pieces to add more storage and display our favorite dish-ware or decor items. In this look, we styled the cabinetry piece with a mix of books, baskets, and dish-ware for the perfect balance of form and function.
When creating pillow combinations, look for a mix of geometric and organic patterns to get that curated designer look in any corner!
In the bedroom, add an extra layer of intention with cozy textiles and styled nightstands with symmetrical lamps, fresh florals, candles, or artwork.
When styling around a focal point in your living space, focus on drawing the eye to that piece with coordinating and layered decor. In this look, we wanted to draw the eye to our artwork focal point above the console, so we layered in decor pieces that pulled out tones from the piece without distracting from it.

We’re dreaming of a winter getaway…
and although we can’t go on vacation every week (although that would be nice), we’ve been thinking about ways to infuse that vacation spirit into our homes to create an environment that feels just as rejuvenating as the places we escape to.
Incorporating pieces that remind you of your favorite places is a great way to make your home feel more personal year-round. We find that vignettes with the most dimension come through mixing and layering pieces from different influences and styles. So, of course, these pieces can be mixed to reflect your personal style.

Designing a well-layered space is all about balance…
and if you’re looking for ways to soften the look and feel of your home, infusing “romantic” or whimsical interior elements and pieces is a great way to bring a relaxed yet elevated look to every corner.
In our recent post about design trends we’re anticipating for 2022, we talked about how excited we are about the romantic trend that speaks to a more traditional style with a fresh take.
The great thing about the romantic styling trend is that it’s all about subtle details that elevate even the most minimal of color and material palettes, so it can be incorporated in nearly any home with ease. In this post, we’re breaking down a few ways to bring the look into your home and sharing some of our favorite pieces that ooze romance.
Dreamy decor accents
Tip body goes here. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book.

Our Spring 22′ Collection with Target for Threshold is officially out in the world…
and we’ve loved seeing how you’ve styled the pieces in your own homes so far. The process of creating each collection with Target inspires our team to consider how simple refreshes can elevate the form and function of our spaces.
Although it’s hard to choose favorites, here are a few of the pieces I’m most excited about from the Spring 22′ collection:
Marble Links
The two-toned marble links are so chic, and I love how the boxy shape offers a new take on the traditional round-linked styling objects. I can’t wait to style these on top of my favorite coffee table books to give them a bit of height and personality.
Checkered Resin Boxes
We designed these boxes to play to the fun checkered pattern we’ve seen on the runway and in the home for quite some time now, and I love how the minimal tones contrast the bold print. I would style these anywhere from a bookshelf to the entryway to tuck away everyday essentials like remotes and keys.
Large Ceramic Table Lamp
Finding affordable lamps that are large enough to feel elevated and give you that perfect glow angle that makes everyone look good is easier said than done. These ceramic table lamps are amazing not only because of their scale but also for their eye-catching vintage-like texture.
A few pillows
Picking a favorite pillow from this collection feels almost as hard as picking a favorite child, but I love the romantic feeling of the Etched Neutral Floral pillows. I can imagine them being so pretty when paired with a solid, textural pillow like the Texture Tonal Plaid Decorative pillow or contrasted with a geometric printed pillow like the Woven Plaid Throw Pillow in Slate Blue/Cream on sofas and beds alike.
Scalloped Bowl
This piece has a timeless, coastal feeling, and it brings in one of my favorite design elements right now with its scalloped edges. It would make a great fruit bowl on a kitchen island or a centerpiece for your dining table, but you could style it anywhere from a console table to a shelf that needs a substantial grounding piece.
Midway Collection
It’s hard to imagine an outdoor space in which the Midway Outdoor Seating collection wouldn’t look great. The piece’s clean, modern lines make them versatile enough for any style, while the designer details in the small gold knob and cut-out back elevate the look from every angle.
Cream Vintage Vase
The cream vintage vase resembles something you might score at your local flea market, and the size is perfect for styling on an end table, pedestal, entryway table, or dining table!
