Summer may be in full swing, but over at East Fork, it’s starting to look a lot like fall. That’s because the makers of some of our favorite pottery just re-released their popular golden-brown Harvest Moon glaze. Originally introduced in the fall of 2017, Harvest Moon was one of East Fork’s first seasonal glazes, which makes the relaunch a really big deal for not only the North Carolina-based company but also for collectors. And, as with all things East Fork, you can pretty much guarantee that this gorgeous glaze will sell out quickly.

Described as “a honeyed, nostalgic ochre,” Harvest Moon truly is a blast from the past for East Fork. The brand says that besides conjuring up early memories of producing their pottery in an old tobacco barn, this autumnal glaze also brings to mind “fading photos of teens in the Seventies who became our mothers and aunts, opening chords of that Neil Young song.” But it’s also perfect for creating new memories of your own, whether you’re using the pieces to serve a Thanksgiving feast for the family or a cozy dinner for two.
