Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: I grew up in the city and spent much of my time hanging in the East Village. A constantly involving area, but in unique ways the vibe remains the same.

I work in the arts and my parents are artists. My apartment is filled with art made by friends and family and objects handed down from my grandparents and from my travels.

My tiny, light-filled apartment sits across from a community garden. My cat Silky loves sitting in the sun and bird watching. My style is a mix of mid-century meets handmade with lush plant life and flashes of artistic flair.

Describe your home’s style in 5 words or less: Creative, retro, sentimental, bright, and peaceful.

What is your favorite room and why? The living room is my favorite room. It’s where I relax and host friends and family. It’s the center of my small home, but rich in color and comfort.

Any advice for creating a home you love? Take measurements and be selective about what you include in your home, especially if it’s a small space.

Make sure items do not overwhelm the room and donate or recycle items that you do not use on a regular basis.
