If you’re still in the market for garden furniture, then I have some good news for you, as Debenhams have slashed their stunning Berkfield Home Garden Lounge Set by a whopping 80%.

If you’re on the hunt for the best garden furniture, the retailer should really be on your radar, providing hundreds of different styles for every taste. Plus, with a huge summer sale on right now, there are so many bargains to be had.

Originally £2,111.25 and now £422.25, the Berkfield Home garden lounge set is an incredible deal. This is everything you need to know.

The best wooden garden furniture has been having a moment this summer, and I think this garden lounge set deserves a spot on the list. Crafted from acacia wood, a tropical hardwood, it is dense, sturdy and durable.

Acacia wood has long been a popular choice for garden furniture as it has a beautiful, warm-toned, multi-coloured quality that suits any garden furniture idea. Being hardwood, it’s naturally resistant to the elements and withstands moisture and humidity, which is always a bonus when it comes to British summers.

The Berkfield Home Lounge set reminds me of Habitat’s Evissa 5 Seater Wooden Garden Corner Sofa Set (£700), but with Debenham’s huge discount, it’s almost half the price of Habitat’s. I love the boxy, modular shapes of these sets, which create a sleek, Scandinavian vibe. Modular furniture is also fantastic for customising your garden furniture as you need it. Simply move the pieces around to create the perfect set.

The lounge set consists of a stylish, slatted coffee table, two corner sofa seats, a middle sofa seat and a footrest. You also get four seat cushions and five back cushions.

For its price, the Berkfield Home Lounge Set is great value for money. It doesn’t have any reviews currently, but Debenhams is known for being a reliable department store. But if you’re not quite convinced, I’ve found some highly-rated alternatives.

If you have a small garden, then you need to stop what you’re doing and listen to me as the Keter Patio Storage Bench (£169.99 at B&Q) is perfect for maximising both storage and space.

When thinking about the best garden furniture, I am not alone in considering pretty styles and colours, without giving too much thought to storage space. But if you have a tiny garden, you’ll already know the importance of making the most out of space, and the Keter patio bench does exactly that.

Combining a traditional wood-style garden bench with a storage trunk, you can maximise your space without sacrificing your style.

Keter is a brand well-versed in garden storage, and their handy storage benches should be on everyone’s radar, especially if you’ve been wondering where to buy garden furniture. These multi-functional benches are ideal for families and owners of small gardens looking to maximise space.

The patio bench is described as being ‘ideal’ for storing tools, equipment, outdoor furniture cushions, garden games and accessories. It has a huge 227L capacity, making it a great choice if you’re lacking in shed storage space. The trunk is also lockable for added security to keep little fingers out.

The bench is made from durable, weather-resistant plastic and has been designed with a wooden-effect. This gives it an authentic look, but also ensures the trunk stays dry and ventilated, without risking your belongings becoming damp.

You don’t have to worry about scrimping on style either, as this small garden storage idea looks great. The trunk is well integrated with the bench, so it’s not glaringly obvious that you’re sitting on a storage bench. It’s also available in cream and green so it will blend with your garden colour scheme. The green colourway (£90) is a Specialbuy at B&Q, so if you like what you see, remember when it’s gone, it’s gone.

You can also add outdoor cushions to increase the comfort and style of the bench. B&Q recommends the GoodHome Tiga Sand Outdoor Bench Cushion (£25), which is a gorgeous neutral shade.

As well as the patio bench, I also spotted the Keter Signature Brown Walnut effect Resin 133x61cm Garden storage bench box 227L (£145). It’s a little cheaper and has the same capacity as the patio bench, and I like its wood-stained effect, which gives the bench a rustic look, despite its plastic material. It’s weather-resistant and UV protected, too, so you can rest assured the stunning walnut colour will stay.

I’m not the only one impressed, and there are a lot of positive reviews praising Keter’s benches.

‘Bought to replace an existing outdoor Keter storage box which lasted over 15 years of kids, dogs & parties. Easy to assemble. Strong ABS construction. Looks good in place. Not too big, but has plenty of below seat storage. Overall very good quality,’ says one.

‘A great buy, for a plastic bench it’s actually quite sturdy & feels pretty solid, it will easily seat 3 people, useful underneath storage, it obviously comes flat packed & took us about an hour to build which wasn’t an issue,’ says another.

Costing just £6.99, it’s easy to see why Aldi’s Solar Hot Air Balloon Light is so popular. Available in four vibrant colours, green, red, blue, or purple, these cute little lights add a pop of playful colour to your garden lighting ideas.

The lights feature a realistic flickering flame, creating a whimsical fairytale look. Fairytale-inspired gardens and nostalgiacore are all having a moment this year, and these cute hot air balloon lights play into these playful looks.

These stunning lamps can easily be hung onto hooks in your garden, or even your trees and larger shrubs, to give your garden borders a beautiful glow in the evenings.

Immediately, the monkey solar light caught my eye, reminding me of Rockett St George’s statement animal lamps, such as the Quirky Gold Lion Lamp (£95) or even Dunelm’s Odisha Monkey Ceiling Lamp (£49). This style of lamp is full of character and perfect for showing off your personality at home.

Now both the balloon, sloth and monkey lights are currently on sale, and if last year is anything to go by – where the hot air balloon solar lights quickly sold out – they won’t be on the shelves for long.

Lidl’s £100 outdoor air fryer is a must-have for BBQ season – its 2 clever functions will make it a winner this summer

If you’re looking for ways to elevate your BBQ game this year, then look no further, as Lidl has a new air fryer with grill and smoker that is perfect for cooking up a storm this summer.

No kitchen is indeed complete without one of the best air fryers on your countertops, and this now rings true for your BBQs, too. If you’re looking for the perfect char on your veggies or a delicious smoky flavour, sometimes even the best BBQs can’t quite compete with a special smoker and grill.

Available in Lidl’s middle aisle right now, the Silvercrest Kitchen Air Fryer With Grill & Smoker (£99.99) has everything you need to elevate your summer eating experience, and it’s more than £100 cheaper than Ninja’s Woodfire Electric BBQ Grill & Smoker (was £299, now £229 at Ninja).

The Lidl air fryer with grill and smoker works as an air fryer when you have the lid closed and as a grill when you have the lid open. The smoker can be switched on separately when the lid is closed.

Like most modern air fryers, this one comes with a touchscreen display to make operation easy and simple. With the simple panel, you can choose to smoke, grill, air fry, roast, bake, dehydrate and reheat as you desire. The added smoker and grill make this air fryer hybrid perfect for BBQ season, especially if you’re hosting large parties and feel like showing off your superior cooking skills.

While a charcoal BBQ is great for chargrilling and smoking BBQ food, the Lidl air fryer with grill and smoker will do all the hard work for you, so you can achieve perfectly grilled and smoked food every time.

The Lidl air fryer with grill and smoker is both non-stick and scratch-resistant and includes a grill plate, frying basket and plancha. You can set a timer from just one minute to 12 hours, and the frying basket has a capacity of 3.8L, making it large enough for families.

Ninja’s Woodfire Electric BBQ Grill & Smoker may carry a heftier price tag, but it was excellently reviewed by our expert reviewer, who said it was easy to use and produced wonderfully flavourful food. If you’ve been looking to invest, Ninja air fryers are renowned for being some of the best you can buy, so if you can afford it, I would recommend opting for the Ninja grill and smoker.

Both Ninja and Lidl’s grill and smoker require outdoor electrical access, so if this is not available to you, it’s best to hone your BBQ or opt for a kamado BBQ (such as this Habitat one for £206. 25 at Argos), which is an expert and locking in smoky flavour.

If you don’t manage to track the Silvercrest Kitchen Air Fryer With Grill & Smoker down at your local Lidl, I’ve found a few more purse-friendly alternatives.

Aldi is selling a gas pizza oven for less than £70 – it’s a dead ringer for the cult Ooni Koda oven

Few outdoor kitchens and BBQ set-ups are complete without a pizza oven these days, and if you haven’t got your hands on one yet, listen up. Aldi is selling a new pizza oven that is a more than £300 cheaper alternative to the cult Ooni Koda 2 Pizza Oven.

It’s true that the best pizza oven will add a whole new dimension to your outdoor cooking space. Fresh, authentic Italian-style pizza whenever you like, it’s a no-brainer that these handy cooking vessels give your BBQ a gourmet edge.

However, these ovens have always been an investment piece and unfortunately, not suited to everyone’s budget. Until now. Aldi’s Gas Pizza Oven costs just £69.99 making it one of the cheapest models I’ve seen this year.

Landing in stores on Thursday (10 July), I’m really excited about the prospect of this Specialbuy. It’s even cheaper than Lidl’s pizza oven, which retails for £79.99. You can always count on Aldi for delivering some of the lowest market prices, whilst delivering on quality, which is the main reason I keep finding myself drawn to the middle aisle every time I visit.

Reaching up to 900 degrees, this oven boasts a rapid warm-up time, so you can cook authentic pizza in minutes. Alongisde reaching such high temperatures, the Aldi pizza oven is designed with a double wall, which retains heat in the cooking chamber, allowing you to cook pizza after pizza.

It has a cordierite pizza stone and a built-in thermometer to ensure crispy crusts. The oven also comes with non-slip rubber feet and a carrier bag so you can take this oven camping, picnicking and to your summer plans.

By contrast, the Ooni Koda pizza oven was highly regarded by Ideal Home’s expert reviewer, who praised the oven for how easy it was to make authentic pizza without mess or hassle. Ooni is rated as one of the best pizza oven brands by Ideal Home, and there are plenty of Ooni models to choose from to suit your needs.

I’m not convinced the Aldi pizza oven will quite match the quality of the Ooni Koda, however, if you’re new to pizza ovens or have a smaller budget, I do think Aldi’s pizza oven is a great starting point. But if you’re having trouble tracking it down, here are a few more alternatives.
