Sunlit pool terraces beautifully expand the living space of these three fresh modern villas, captured by photographer Danang Seta. Stylish decor schemes present luxury inside, offering tasteful settings for vacation fun. The first of our three featured holiday villas boasts a landscaped pool area with lush lawns. Boho-style quarters lie within, dashed with cosy cushions, jute rugs, and fashionable rattan elements. The second villa design carries a touch of tradition, with classical garden sculptures placed around the pool. A sunken seating area adds a retro twist. Finally, we’ll round off our trio with an unusual industrial-style villa. Concrete decor builds a cool aesthetic, whilst wooden accents construct welcoming warmth.
Villa Lamut is a beautiful two-story holiday home with a sunny swimming pool terrace. The compact pool cuts into a modern landscape design, where lush green lawns and tropical plants add enlivening colour.
At night, the pool terrace becomes a magical oasis of warm light and shimmering water. Uplighters showcase Mother Nature’s sculptural creations and their outstretched foliage.
The terrace floor alternates between neatly trimmed lawns, small decked areas, and winding pathways. The alternating ground surfaces create visual interest and added dimension.
Wide glass doors are spread along the length of the villa. The glazed doors open up a free-flowing connection between the large living room and the outside living spaces.
With the sliding doors pulled back, there is natural ventilation through the villa. Conversation can be held between people indoors and out by the pool.
A couple of outdoor chaise lounge chairs are situated on a small deck beside the swimming pool, beneath a shady garden parasol. After sunset, the chaise lounge chairs become a sweet spot for conversation under the stars.
Tall palm trees shoot up around the borders of the landscaped gardens. Their tall trunks break up the solid appearance of the high boundary wall.
Inside the living room, a large jute rug creates a textural island for a comfortable sitting area. A cream couch pulls around the edges of the area rug in an L-shaped formation.
A curvaceous lounge chair rounds out the living room furniture arrangement.
In the centre of the sitting area, a unique glass top coffee table makes an eye-catching focal point. A small wooden media unit neatly displays the TV.
An assortment of boho scatter cushions playfully accessorise the pale living room decor palette. Blush pink accents add subtle visual warmth.
A decorative gold mirror adorns one blank white wall. Indoor plants add naturally beautiful decoration, colour, and texture to the space.
Behind the sofa, a unique dining room set seats up to eight people.
The villa also has a separate snug, which makes a cosy space for watching movies.
A light master bedroom is flavoured with pretty boho accent pieces. A round rug lays a tonal jute pattern on the floor. A tasselled bedcover expresses a relaxed aesthetic.
Inside the first bathroom, an open shower space design is filled with sunlight from a large floor-to-ceiling window.
A second shower room receives sunlight through a well-positioned skylight.
Our second luxury holiday home is Green Villa, located 650 yards from Jimbaran Beach. Here, the outdoor area is almost consumed by an inviting blue swimming pool design. A narrow terrace borders the edge. Classical garden statues reflect upon the surface of the water.
At the end of the long swimming pool design, we discover a compact garden area that’s home to small trees and flowering plants.
A sunken seating area brings the homeowner and their guests down to the water level of the pool, making conversation easier between the two recreational areas.
In the centre of the conversation pit, a small rattan coffee table is ideally situated to receive drinks and snacks.
The villa architecture wraps the swimming pool in a U-shaped embrace. At night, the villa’s interior lights flood the outdoor area with bright illumination. The swimming pool almost feels like a part of the interior, making it inviting during every hour of the day and night.
An uplifting blue accent colour threads throughout the villa, from blue swimming pool tiles and matching sun loungers to a blue dining room and coordinating kitchen cabinets. In the combined kitchen diner space, wireframe dining room pendant lights drop in black anchors.
Striking wall decor draws the eye across to a casual lounge area. Blue scatter cushions colour a grey couch.
In the master suite, a bespoke vanity table stretches across the full length of the room. An end of bed bench conceals extra storage space.
Twin wardrobes flank the door to an ensuite bathroom.
On the second floor, wide balconies overlook the pool terrace. A roof terrace crowns the property.
A mezzanine landing is structured above the sunken seating area, creating an airy double-height void.
Wicker chairs furnish a resting spot out on the bedroom balcony. Glass balustrades leave the view unobstructed.
A convenient wooden bar area is created above the glass balustrades. Wicker bar stools pull up to the bar and the view.
Villa Niscala carries a cool industrial aesthetic. Concrete volumes dominate a tranquil poolside sitting area.
Green borders grow a veil of privacy around the swimming pool.
Rich wooden accents warm the cool grey aesthetic.
Behind the lounge, a formal dining area is arranged alongside the kitchen.
Black dining chairs seat six around a stark black table.
Concrete cabinets construct the kitchen.
White wall render provides a more peaceful look in the master bedroom. Mini bedroom pendant lights emit a soft and cosy glow.

Shaped with luxurious flair and a lavish lifestyle in mind, this contemporary modern home design features a cinema, bar, and spa. Designed by the architect team at Ramón Esteve Studio, the modern home exterior has a crisp white concrete facade that is raised upon a contrasting rustic stone base. The stacked, linear volumes reflect in the cool blue water of a swimming pool that wraps around the perimeter. Smaller pools are dotted between patio slabs to continue the reflective, watery theme. Outdoor living areas make full use of the sun terrace to encourage indoor-outdoor living. Inside, the home interior is finished in high-end materials and understated style.
The modern house exterior is an impressive three-story arrangement that crisply reflects the bright sunshine with its clean white render.
Around the base of the home exterior, stone walls build a warm and welcoming rustic appeal. The stone walls are left exposed on the inside of the house too, creating a cohesive aesthetic.
Massive windows give the large home a lightweight look. The fenestration allows sunlight to enter the home interior in abundance.
A large terrace stretches across the back of the home. This makes plenty of space to incorporate outdoor living areas for lounging, dining, and entertaining guests.
A modern swimming pool wraps the edges of the terrace in an L-shape. At night, the pool water becomes a giant mirror, reflecting the golden glowing lights of the home.
Recessed spotlights shine from the concrete overhangs that cover much of the terrace. By day, the overhangs provide shade from direct sunlight and shelter from rain.
Massive windows give the outdoor living areas a comforting connection with the interior of the home. They also share an abundance of illumination.
On the widest part of the sun terrace, three outdoor sofas are arranged in a conversational U-shaped arrangement around a coffee table.
High-end vignettes are viewable through the fenestration. LED strip lights highlight special features, including the rugged stonework in the walls beneath board-formed concrete.
Modern landscaping forms a green and picturesque plot. Ancient olive trees grow stunning scenery.
The paved terrace climbs the sloping topography. Small pools are placed intermittently between the paving slabs to create jewel-like areas of cool blue reflection.
Green shrubs and colorful flowers flourish in the borders that surround the terraces, creating a beautiful and interesting walkway.
A tiered water feature gently trickles down the steps of the terrace, composing a relaxing soundtrack.
At the front entrance, edge-to-edge glass reveals a modern staircase that rises to the second story of the house. To the right of it, a large open-plan living room unfolds.
A wide, pivoting wooden door creates a feeling of grandeur upon entering the space.
The formal dining room is conveniently located near the wine storage room. This provides a quick and easy selection of beverages to complement the evening meal.
On one side of the living room, a small pool creates the illusion of being connected to the outdoor swimming pool. The two meet on either side of an almost frameless window.
A copper room divider splits the living areas, separating the sitting area from the dining room. Copper pendant lights and matching copper table lamps complement the bespoke partition.
Wood wall panels give the living room a warm and cozy aesthetic. A stone chimney breast draws the eye over to a snug sitting area by a modern fireplace and a games table.
The fireplace is installed in line with a log storage box outside the window. The wingback chairs and floor lamp fashion an inviting place for evening conversation.
A plush home theatre room is furnished with comfortable chairs and authentic dark decor.
A home bar is located next door to the wine storage room. An illuminated countertop creates a unique place to sample and enjoy.
The home bar is decorated to resemble a nightclub, creating a fun space in which to entertain friends and family long into the night.
The wine storage room is situated within glass walls so that the tempting collection can be admired by all who pass by.
Upstairs, the master bedroom boasts an edge-to-edge dual aspect that looks out upon the swimming pool and sun terrace.
A walk-in wardrobe is accessed via a concealed pocket door in the wood-clad headboard wall.
A skylight bathes an internal swimming pool area in sunlight. This pool is connected to the spa area of the home.
Fixtures and fittings in the spa are picked out in lustrous rich copper, which sings out against white marble wall slabs and built-in seating.
The bathroom is decorated with the same luxurious white marble and copper finishes. Industrial-style copper faucets bring character to a marble double sink bathroom vanity. Lighting is soft and subtle, with a golden glow shining from thin LED ribbons.
A built-in marble seat underlines the window and a blissful treetop view.
A second large window offers another green vista and fills a white marble bathtub with sunlight. A copper bath tap shines in the sunbeams.
Thanks to generously proportioned windows, nature plays a principal part in the home design.
Water is a recurring theme throughout too, which gives the home a calm and peaceful spirit.
The natural environment is allowed to feather the borders of the home. Plants creep along outdoor steps and perimeter walls to bed the house into its habitat.

The crisp white modern home exterior stands boldly on a steeply sloping plot, looking out to the sparkling blue sea. The 800 square meter plot has rustic Mediterranean charm, which softens the contemporary architecture.
A winding private road leads into a paved driveway at the front entrance of the home, and also to a parking garage on the left.
Raised beds make way for a modern landscape of hardy shrubs and trees. The beds are arranged as curvaceous freeform volumes, which cause a gently meandering pathway between them.
Wood slatted shutters interrupt the white façade. The wooden shutters filter out the direct sunlight to keep the interior cool. They also provide a level of privacy from the front driveway. A wide wooden front door pivots on its axis to grandly grant entry.
From inside the entryway, the wood-slatted shutters allow glimpses of lush greenery to be seen. A wide entryway shelf displays an elegant array of decorative items.
Upon crossing the threshold into the home, a wide panorama of the Mediterranean sea opens up from behind retractable glass doors. A glass-sided stairwell leaves the line of sight unobstructed.
Beyond the glass doors, a sun terrace forms around an inviting infinity pool, which stretches out toward the hilly horizon.
Outdoor sitting areas make the terrace into a sociable space, where the homeowner can entertain family and friends.
A large outdoor sofa draws around the edge of the paved terrace in an L-shaped formation. Two outdoor coffee tables provide landing spots for drinks and snacks.
A glass balustrade draws along the edge of the raised terrace, providing safety whilst respecting the stunning panorama.
Small side tables are teamed with the outdoor chaise lounges to hold refreshments.
The interior decor scheme is a serene palette of white, beige, and gray throughout. Only the view provides color, in the shape of green trees and the cool blue sea.
A large sectional sofa makes a cozy L-shaped configuration around the beige living room. Two large ottomans complete the conversational arrangement.
Two glass coffee tables form the core of the living room layout.
A dark and textural focal wall is home to a modern fireplace and a log storage nook.
Modern art adds interest to plain white walls.
Behind the dining area, an open plan gray kitchen unfolds. A black marble backsplash creates a striking focal point at the heart of the modern installation.
Contemporary artwork makes a large impact across the dining room wall, whilst the coastal view provides visual beauty around the remaining two walls.
Sunlight reflects upon the brass dining room pendant lights and across a glass fruit bowl on the table. See more inspiration for modern fruit bowls.
In the beige bedroom, a glass wall above the headboard allows natural light to pass through into an ensuite bathroom. It also shares the view.
Small bedside drawer units are situated beneath the pendants. Small vases, bowls and candles daintily decorate their surface.
Floor-to-ceiling glass doors slide away to give access to a spacious balcony area outside the bedroom.
Two outdoor chairs, matching stools, and a coffee table are held together on an outdoor rug to make a welcoming sitting area.
The second bedroom design scheme is decorated similarly, with understated white walls and eye-catching bedroom pendant lights.
This time, a trio of glass pendants fall on elliptical bedside units.
The glass sided staircase in the entryway descends into an atmospherically lit floor. LED strips make a cozy glow around the perimeter, while attractive floor lamps make a small focal point in the corner.
As well as the outdoor infinity pool, there is an indoor swimming pool for use during cooler weather conditions.
Floating wall shelves display small decorative vases, candles and books.
Ribbons of LED light softly illuminate a set of wide steps behind three poolside chaise lounges.
At dusk, the sound of Mediterranean cicadas and warm mood lighting fills the home.
Outdoor areas become places for reflecting upon the day and sharing stories.
Candles flicker on the terrace as city lights shimmer below.
Friends and family gather in the outdoor living room to create conversation, celebration, and great memories.

Relaxed boho decor shapes these three chilled modern home designs, which each boasts its own swimming pool. These happy homes are places where close family and friends love to gather and while away the hours. House number one is a simply styled home design with a minimalist boho aesthetic. White-washed brick walls and pared-back furniture speaks of easy upkeep and a laid-back attitude. Tour number two takes place in a home with a slightly more formal approach, though wicker accents and indoor plants bring the look back down to earth. Finally, we’ll round off our trio with a boho chalet, with a sleek modern feel and wide open airy living spaces.
As we step into the living room of our first boho home, we find an all-white decor scheme that’s warmed by natural wood furniture and wicker accessories. Two large floor vases add a botanical display at either side of a whitewashed brickwork wall, creating layer upon layer of texture.
The projector-friendly living room really comes alive at night, with Netflix glowing on the big screen. The clear blue glow of the swimming pool shines in through a set of retractable doors.
Modern artwork adds a brief moment of interest to the plain white walls with a fashionable arched motif.
Behind the sofa, an airy dining area is furnished with beautiful curved wooden dining chairs and a modern metal-framed table.
The living room flows onto the pool terrace, providing comfortable indoor-outdoor living for the warm climate. The terrace is a neat little oasis, lined with lush tropical plants and palm trees.
The pool terrace is a connective space for the family. The house forms an L-shape around it, with sliding doors on both sides. An upstairs balcony overlooks the water.
A hanging chair is mounted to the underside of the balcony. It provides a comfortable spot to while away the afternoon with a good book.
A couple of wicker loungers are paired to form an area for relaxation and conversation by the swimming pool.
Upstairs on the landing, a simple home gym area is equipped with hand weights, yoga mats, and a full length mirror. Cheerful, pastel colored, abstract art pieces dot the walls. Daylight pleasantly filters in through a clerestory window.
A wicker chair makes an attractive addition to the corner of the landing space. A round rug forms a small jute island underneath it, whilst indoor plants add green adornment on either side.
In the boho bedroom, A partially wood clad ceiling makes a cozy canopy above the bed.
Wicker pendant lights descend from each end of the wooden canopy.
Boho wall decor is applied to the plain white perimeter in regular flourishes.
A walk-in wardrobe is paired with the bathroom.
The modern vanity area is casually accessorized with a wooden round mirror and dried botanicals.
In our second featured boho living room, wooden ceiling slats expand across the entire space, making the room feel warm and earthy.
An L-shaped modern sofa and stool are set on attractive wooden bases. A trio of pendant lights and a living room floor lamp bring in wicker elements.

The kitchen is a large and airy space with a long terrazzo island.
A border of plants visually separates the kitchen area from the formal dining room.
Whitewashed brickwork walls make a textural perimeter.
Our final tour takes place in a boho chalet, which is entered via an elegant arched gateway.
A lawn carpets the yard with greenery. A chic, canvas-roofed pergola forms the frame of an outdoor living room.
The outdoor living room features a kitchen area with a bar.
Rattan chairs and a round wooden table furnish a sunny conversational area on a small, tiled patio. Concrete plinths display plants and decorative vases.
Moving inside of the chalet, we enter an open and relaxed living room with a fresh white decor scheme. A white sofa and matching ottomans border a black and white rug.
Rattan pendant lights swing from exposed wooden beams.
Four wooden bar stools line up along the edge of the granite kitchen island to form an informal dining area.
Two wooden accent chairs and a small side table arrange a coffee area next to a large living room window. A modern media unit displays the TV.
Oak flooring covers the entire living space and entry hall.
The kitchen island lighting is a series of gray industrial-style pendants, which distribute even illumination along its full length. Smooth greige kitchen units merge with the wall stucco. A series of wooden wall cabinets make strong, textural contrast.
A macrame wall hanging and a pair of wicker lamps make a beautiful boho vignette beside a rustic wooden door frame.
We enter the master bedroom via a dressing area lined with made-to-measure wardrobes.
The white boho bedroom design features an attractive archway around the head of the bed, which is washed in a subtly contrasting shade of blue-gray.
A wicker pendant falls at one side of the archway, whilst a simple table lamp lights the other.

Villa Amaze takes advantage of its rare position by fully absorbing 270-degrees of unobstructed beach views through massive edge-to-edge windows. Whilst the villa enjoys this spectacular position, it is conveniently located to enjoy easy accessibility of the main road in just 2 minutes drive, giving the homeowners the best of both worlds. With 5 Bedrooms and 6 Bathrooms, the owners can comfortably open up their home to extended family and friends as overnight guests. The contemporary 3 storey villa also boasts a large freeform infinity-edge pool on an expansive terrace, a massage room and a separate spa, beautiful tropical gardens and lush manicured lawns.
Completed in 2018 this fabulous 1713 square metre villa stands on a 2600 square metre plot on a coastal hillside. The sloped site is thick with tropical vegetation and palm trees that give the home a lush green backdrop. A magnificent azure vista unfolds in front with far-reaching views of the sparkling ocean and clear blue skies.
A large and curvaceous freeform infinity-edge pool curls around the front of the property, which gives the swimmers a feeling of connection with the vast ocean that rushes toward the foot of the hill. Great rocks protrude through the sides of the pool to further cement the property’s relationship with its environment.
Stone walls are built outward from the great rocks to form the unique villa. A waterfall gushes down from one of these exterior stone walls to make an eye-catching feature at the head of the pool and a relaxing soundtrack for the outdoor lounge areas.
A wicker chair takes up prime position on an island inside the pool, which provides perfect seclusion for reading, contemplation, or meditation in the peace and quiet.
Sun loungers are built into the terrace area beside the curvaceous swimming pool. Custom-made base pads bed down inside a curved recess in the deck.
The expansive pool terrace provides multiple spots for outdoor lounging. Pockets of comfortable seating are situated around it to offer various viewpoints over the beach below.
The seaside terrace also makes an ideal location for a spot of morning yoga.
At night, the wide terrace comes alive with atmospheric outdoor lighting that makes a tempting setting for a party.
Trees in the lawn help to divide up the large deck, softly buffering the pool area from the house.
Inside the modern villa, a modular sofa is pulled up to the retractable windows to take in the panorama and revel in the sea air. Matching ottomans break away to form a conversational seating layout. A live-edge coffee table is positioned centrally to hold cold drinks.
The TV stand is situated off to the side of the windows, should the homeowners ever tire of their exceptional view.
The indoor lounge area stands open to a luxurious dining room. A loose arrangement of modern dining room pendant lights span the length of the wooden table, whilst a matching trio of pendants are straightly aligned along a marble kitchen island behind.
The wooden dining table is surrounded by modern dining chairs that seat up to 10 guests for dinner.
The dining room doors can be drawn back fully to connect the dining space with the pool terrace for an alfresco dining experience that is not at the mercy of the elements.
Upstairs, we come to the first bedroom, which is furnished with a romantic 4 poster bed and red accent cushions.
Sheer drapes keep out the bugs when snoozing with the balcony doors open.
Clear glass balustrades fade from sight to leave the dazzling ocean vista entirely unobstructed. This means that the homeowners don’t even have to roll out of bed to appreciate their prime location.
Inside a luxurious bathroom design, the bathtub is raised upon a stone platform where it can best absorb views of the blue horizon. A linear bathroom sink underlines a different glorious view of the lush green hillside.
An ensuite bathroom is decorated with bordered jute rugs and natural wooden elements that are not only stylish in the bohemian sense but promote a feeling of relaxation.
