People put a lot of pressure on their mattresses, and that’s one reason why, every major holiday weekend, the talk is all about getting a new one from the many home sales. Even if you treated yourself to a mattress upgrade (and especially if you didn’t), you shouldn’t forget about an often-overlooked item that can work wonders toward helping you get a quality snooze: the mattress pad. This affordable bedding accessory is an easy way to make your bed ultra-comfortable, which can make all the difference when it comes to getting a good night’s rest. But how do you know what to look for? Thankfully, Amazon reviewers have already put in the work, and they are in love with this best-selling mattress topper. Oh, and it just happens to be on sale for Prime Day.

Boasting every quality you could want in a mattress pad, this one has racked up nearly 25,000 five-star Amazon reviews. It’s cool, breathable, and super soft, and it makes any mattress — including hard, lumpy, bumpy ones — feel more luxurious. Says one reviewer, “I have had this for one month and still the best purchase for bedding I have ever made!!!! Holds its shape every day and I am no lightweight. Finally a great night’s sleep!!!”

What makes this topper so fantastic? To start, the hypoallergenic stuffing means it’s a great pick for anyone with allergies and other sensitivities. Its unique design is more supportive than a typical diamond quilting seam, which keeps the filling from moving around and bunching up. Some mattress toppers are a struggle to get on the bed, but this one has elastic fabric pockets for easy installation. And since it’s made from 100 percent high-quality fitted combed cotton — 300 thread count, to be exact — it delivers extra comfort and guards against heating up during the night. One memory-foam mattress owner raves, “I didn’t sweat or get hot at all when using flannel sheets on this baby with no fan on at night! This topper totally dissipates my body heat and doesn’t hold it, I love it!”

Nearly every reviewer couldn’t help but comment on how soft and fluffy the topper is. “This topper is like lying on a bed of marshmallows,” said one. “Not too soft but so comfortable I just don’t want to get out of bed.” To maintain maximum fluffiness, you can air the topper out in the sun for a few hours to puff it up, or, after giving it a spin in the washing machine, tumble dry it on low.

If you’re still on the fence about this game-changing bedding accessory, take it from this happy husband. “Unbeknownst to me, my wife decided to replace our mattress with the hardest slab of concrete on which I’ve ever had to sleep,” he shares. “I ordered this cover hoping for a tiny bit of relief. From the first night it exceeded all my hopes and dreams, I was able to sleep again, it doesn’t slip off even with my tossing and turning, and it stays cool… ” ‘Nuff said.

If You Feel Overwhelmed by Gallery Walls, This Buying Hack Is for You

If You Feel Overwhelmed by Gallery Walls, This Buying Hack Is for You

A gallery wall makes a memorable impact on any room, but it can be a challenge to piece one together in a cohesive way. There are a lot of moving parts to a gallery wall — frame designs, poster and print choices, and frame sizes — which means you have a lot of decisions to make. And depending on what you settle on, you could be looking at a hefty bill for such a simple project. Good news: There’s a simple hack that can take one (or more) of those decisions off your hands.

To make gallery wall assembly more accessible and less intimidating, some stores now offer gallery wall bundles to give you a cohesive, professional look. Essentially, these stores sell curated, bundled prints in similar colors and aesthetics that you can buy framed or print on your own.

Intrigued? Check out some of our favorite options below.

There are hundreds of creators on Etsy taking the guesswork out of gallery walls. You can buy everything from neutral sets, to boho compilations, to eclectic bundles, depending on your aesthetic. You can’t beat the price, either. Some print-your-own sets cost as little as $8 for five prints. Of course, you’ll have to do the framing, but at least you’re not starting from scratch.

Minted offers everything from art pairs to entire sets, but with even more purchase flexibility than Etsy. With Etsy you get a dedicated set, but with Minted you have more freedom to mix and match. To access Minted’s collection, go to the Art Pairs and Sets tab, which will display all the available art sets. You can then either buy an entire set or filter the paintings through medium, styles, and colors, and pick and choose that way.

Those who want more of a “fine art” aesthetic on their walls — and have the budget to do so — should check out Chairish for curated gallery wall sets. The resale site takes the guesswork out of matching art by creating bundles that feature a series of different artists. The end results are eclectic and fun.
