The perfect pairing—
—is what we strive for in the world of design. Sometimes that perfection can be imperfection, two clashing prints that somehow work or monochrome color that can easily border on boring, but yet, somehow works. It’s that give and take in design that keeps it interesting and allows one designer to establish their style against the next. For our collaboration with famed British textile house, Morris & Co., we wanted to take three of Shea’s favorite pieces (but honestly, who’s counting?) and pair them with a few of our McGee & Co. stalwarts, to inspire a cohesive and curated design. Here, an intermingling of Morris & Co. x McGee & Co.

Pretty pastels and shades of cream mingle with nostalgic botanicals, just the palette for our Morris & Co. x McGee & Co Honeysuckle & Tulip wallpaper. Light and airy with a grandiose nod to time-honored patterns and made-to-last materials. It all beckons back to when life seemed just a bit simpler. We imagine this space with light streaming through, shadows dancing with the honeysuckle and tulips.
I love how this pattern makes you feel, like you’re standing inside an old garden where the botanicals have well grown past the trellises, meeting again with the earth on the other side. It feels alive, like it’s a living, breathing part of nature.

Barefoot with open doors and joyful hearts, our Morris & Co. x McGee & Co. Arbutus Pillow is just the right companion for a backyard soiree that takes notes from Palm Beach Chic, sans gild, and Slim Aarons-esque glamour. Sun-drenched with a tinge of romance, and a deep-rooted connection to light and air, roll out the welcome mat and sprinkle in the magic.

With a whole lot of Gilded Age vibes, anything you pair with our Morris & Co. x McGee & Co. Marigold Wallpaper is going to feel reminiscent of bygone days. A playful mix that’s cinematic in its presentation, all while honoring a level of sophistication hardly replicated. Sit down, stay awhile, this space has plenty of stories to tell.
This two-toned motif is one of Morris & Co.’s oldest and most iconic prints, a timeless adaptation of whimsy and delight. It’s a simple pigmentation, shades of earthen clay, and what I love about it is that it still manages to stand next to some of the other more intricate patterns in terms of sophistication.
